RLUP groups receive DARPA grant: A multi-university team lead by Rice has received Phase II funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Optical Lattice Emulator Program (OLE). The purpose of OLE is to build an ultracold atom based emulator of complex materials, such as high-temperature superconductors. The PI's at Rice are Profs. Han Pu and Randy Hulet.
