The Rice Laboratory for Ultracold Physics focuses on the properties of ultracold atoms, molecules, and plasmas, which cuts across many fields of research, including atomic, plasma, and condensed matter physics. Joint projects and weekly laboratory meetings foster a collaborative environment for students and faculty that supports world-class education and research.
